Today saw profit announcements from heavy hitter Telstra, as well as Coca-Cola Amatil and Bunnings Warehouse Property Trust.
Telstra
Committed shareholders might care to listen to Telstra’s full year results webcast or download the whopping 251-page statutory accounts. Alternatively, Steve Johnson has provided details of the result and his thoughts on the stock in this full review published earlier today. For the benefit of income investors, the final dividend will be a fully franked 14 cents, flat on the same period last year.
Coca-Cola Amatil
After taking a detailed look at Coca-Cola Amatil on 12 Jun 09 for the first time in years, the recently reported half-yearly results held no great surprises. Trading revenue rose 10% to $2.04bn and net profit 10.4% to $190m, while the interim dividend was raised 1.5 cents to 18.5 cents, fully franked. You can download the half year report and the company has indicated that the results webcast will soon be available on its website, although we can’t find it there yet. Bunnings Warehouse Property Trust
Bunnings Warehouse Property Trust has so far escaped the downturn with only a few cuts and bruises, but its paltry 5.3% forecast yield doesn’t tempt us and we don’t plan a full review any time soon.
